Cookies and consent

We ask for your consent to cookies with our own consent box. Your choice is stored in a necessary cookie in your browser for twelve months so that we do not have to ask again. As proof of consent, the choice is also stored with our web host Hostinger for at most two years, with a random ID, the time and the address of the page where you made the choice. Your IP address is not stored.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time under Cookie settings.

Visitor statistics without cookies

We count visits with our own counter to see which pages are used and how visitors find us. The counter uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records which page is shown and on which date, where the visit came from (for example Google, an ad or a link), and whether someone clicks our email address. It also records whether the page was viewed on a mobile or a computer, and which website or campaign led to the visit. Your IP address, other details about your device and any ID that could be linked to you are not stored, so the figures cannot be traced to a person. The statistics are stored with our database provider Supabase. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used. Daily totals are kept for as long as the website exists; individual clicks for at most 25 months.

Services that receive data

The website is hosted by our web host Hostinger, which also keeps the consent log. The visitor statistics are stored with Supabase, in a database project in the EU (Ireland). The page loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to know what data we hold about you and to have it corrected or erased. You can also object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest. Email info@civiccourses.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
